It’s always said that a long bunker shot is the hardest shot in golf, but I disagree. A greenside hardpan bunker shot is more difficult. One still has to get the ball up, and quickly so it stops like a normal bunker shot, yet the hardpan is making the flange bounce from the moment it hits, making a ‘thinned’ shot the usual result. Anyone with me?
